Joe Milton has take on topic that has divided the Tennessee Vols fan base for years

The Tennessee Vols have one of the most recognizable fight songs in college football.
And I'm not talking about "Down the Field", which is actually Tennessee's official fight song.
Rocky Top, the Vols' unofficial fight song, is the song that opposing fan bases think of when they think about Tennessee. And it's the song they hear echoing through their mind for days, maybe even weeks, after a visit to Neyland Stadium in Knoxville.
If you go to a Vols game, you'll hear the song a countless amount of times. And you'll also hear a loud "Woo" after the words "Good ole Rocky Top" are sung by the crowd.
Here's a video from a game at Neyland where you can very clearly hear the "Woo".
Not every Tennessee fan is a fan of the "Woo". There are plenty of anti-Woo folks out there (typically it's the fans that have been around a while….I'm talking decades).
Last week at SEC Media Days, CBS Sports personality Rick Neuheisel, who is also a former college football head coach, asked Vols quarterback Joe Milton to sing part of Rocky Top.
Milton, according to The Athletic's Joe Rexrode, obliged and he included the "Woo", which Neuheisel called "perfect". Milton then revealed that the "Woo" is his favorite part.
From The Athletic: Neuheisel asked Milton to sing “Rocky Top” and got a little bit out of him.
“The ‘Woo!’ was perfect,” Neuheisel said.
“That’s my favorite part,” Milton said.
If QB1 is a fan of the "Woo", then that has to be the official stance of Vol Nation, right?
Of course, if you listen to the video above, you're probably in disbelief that anti-Woo fans even exist. But trust me, they're out there lurking. You just can't hear their silent protests over the echoes of the "Woos" that bounce around Neyland Stadium each Saturday in the fall.
