Former Tennessee Vols wide receiver Jauan Jennings, a seventh round selection by the San Francisco 49ers in the 2020 NFL Draft, has earned a very specific reputation in the NFL over the last couple of years.

And it's a reputation that won't surprise Tennessee fans.

Jennings has become known as a wide receiver that is extremely physical and gets into the heads of opposing defenders (which is wild because usually it's a defensive player who is getting into the heads of offensive players).

Several times during training camp over the last couple of weeks, Jennings has been involved in a scuffle/minor fight. And it's usually a result of his physical blocking style.

The latest instance happened when Las Vegas Raiders cornerback Nate Hobbs took exception to a block from Jennings during joint practices.

Jennings also got into a couple of scuffles with some 49ers teammates earlier in training camp.

The former Vol also had an interesting back and forth with Dallas Cowboys Pro Bowl defender Trevon Diggs last month.

(Some context: Jennings laid out Diggs with a block last season.)

Jennings is probably never going to put up gaudy numbers or reach a Pro Bowl, but it's clear that he's earned a reputation as a physical player who wreaks havoc as an offensive player.
