The Atlanta Falcons wrapped up their final practice ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Green Bay Packers and things are looking promising for starting cornerback Jeff Okudah.

Okudah, who did not practice ahead of Week 1's win due to a foot injury, practiced as a limited participant all this week and head coach Arthur Smith said "he could see a scenario where Okudah is active Sunday but doesn't start," via ESPN's Michael Rothstein

Starting linebacker Troy Andersen (concussion) returned to practice on Friday, however, Smith went ahead and ruled him out for Sunday–likely as a safety precaution.

Take a look at the Falcons' latest (estimated) injury report below:

Injury report observations:

  • Andersen is in concussion protocol and must be cleared in order to play. The Falcons did not wear pads on Friday so Andersen only participated in walkthroughs.
  • With Andersen out, look for Nate Landman or Kaden Elliss to step up in his place.
  • Patterson practiced in full once again after being limited all of last week and he will be available for Sunday. When asked how Patterson's presence changed the RB workload running back coach Michael Pitre said, "It doesn't alter what we do… It just gives us another weapon that defenses have to account for."
  • And don't forget, the Falcons will wear their red throwback helmets on Sunday.

As for the Packers, running back Aaron Jones (hamstring), wideout Christian Watson (hamstring), tackle David Bakhtiari (knee) and linebacker Quay Walker (concussion) are all listed as questionable for Sunday's game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
