Jadeveon Clowney has managed to turn back the clock over the early stages of his first season with the Baltimore Ravens.
Clowney, who signed a free agent deal with the Ravens in August, has been quite a force in Baltimore’s front seven. He has tallied six blitzes and 1.5 sacks through three games played in the ongoing campaign.
As noted by Pro Football Focus, Clowney leads the Ravens in total pressures with 13. He logged a mere 29 total pressures over 12 games played in his final season with the Cleveland Browns in the 2022 campaign.
Overall, Clowney is one of 11 players in the NFL this season who have recorded at least 13 total pressures and a pass-rushing win percentage of at least 15.0 percent.
Clowney has helped add another dimension to Baltimore’s front seven, which is just what Ravens defensive coordinator Mike Macdonald had hoped to see when the team signed him to a one-year deal last month.
"He's doing the things that we imagined him to do," Macdonald said during a press conference ahead of Baltimore’s Week 4 game against the Indianapolis Colts. "Hopefully, we keep it rolling."
Clowney sure will look to continue to prove his worth to Baltimore in its upcoming road matchup against his former team in the Browns.
