Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has blossomed as a pinpoint accurate passer through the early stages of the 2023 season.

Jackson currently ranks second among all qualified quarterbacks this season in completion percentage; he has completed 74.5 percent of passes. Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen holds the top spot in this leaderboard, as he boasts a 76.9 percent completion percentage.

Jackson has also been careful with the football in crucial in-game situations. For one, he has completed 88.89 percent of passes in the red zone in the ongoing campaign.

Jackson credits his growing chemistry with his weapons on offense as the reason why he has the second-highest completion percentage this year.

"[It's] just building chemistry," Jackson said ahead of Week 3. "That's the biggest thing. [It's] getting the ball out my hand [and] throwing to my guys, and my guys catching the ball. [Also], getting yards and protecting me from bad plays or anything like that, and I'm just trying to protect them as well."

In the big picture, Jackson sure will look to maintain his potent completion percentage rate this season in Baltimore’s Week 3 home clash with the Indianapolis Colts. The two-time Pro Bowler notched an 84.85 percent completion percentage in two previous meetings against the AFC South side.
