Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey made his long-awaited return to practice on Wednesday.
Humphrey took part in a few individual drills in Baltimore’s first practice session of the week.
Humphrey has been out of action since he suffered a calf injury during the first half of the Ravens' home game against the Miami Dolphins last month. Humphrey went on to miss 10 straight practices, including all three of Baltimore’s such sessions last week.
The Ravens ultimately decided to rule out Humphrey from their AFC divisional round matchup against the Houston Texans. Ronald Darby filled in for the three-time Pro Bowler against Houston; he featured in 96 percent of Baltimore’s snaps on defense in the contest and recorded three total tackles.
The Ravens will hold two more practice sessions this week before they then turn their full attention to hosting the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC title game on Sunday.
