The Baltimore Ravens entered their bye week with a few injury concerns. Among them, the Ravens have been keeping a close watch on both Justin Madubuike and Marlon Humphrey.

Madubuike came away from the Ravens' Week 12 road matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers with a concussion. Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said after the game that the versatile defensive lineman is "going to be in the concussion protocol."

Humphrey has been nursing a calf injury suffered during the Ravens’ home loss to the Cleveland Browns last month. The nagging ailment forced him to miss Baltimore’s last two games, including its road win over the Chargers. Even though he was limited in practice all week ahead of the game, Baltimore still decided to sideline him from the contest.

The Ravens are now looking ahead to hosting the Los Angeles Rams in Week 14, and Harbaugh is hopeful that Madubuike and Humphrey will end up playing in the game.

"They are looking pretty good right now," Harbaugh said during a press conference on Monday.

"… I’d say right now, there’s a lot of optimism."

If Madubuike and Humphrey do not receive the green light to play on Sunday, then Broderick Washington Jr. is expected to help fill in for the former Texas A&M standout while Ronald Darby could be called on to once again start at the cornerback position. Washington recorded a sack against the Chargers, and Darby featured in all 66 of Baltimore’s snaps on defense in the contest.
