The Athletic’s Dianna Russini noted on Saturday that Henry looks "to be staying in Tennessee." Titans general manager Ran Carthon has received trade interest for multiple players, but Russini added that the first-year NFL executive is "not moving on any offer unless it’s exceptional."
The Ravens are one team that has been regularly linked with Henry as of late. At the least, Baltimore is "looking to add a running back" ahead of Tuesday’s NFL trade deadline.
Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta has reportedly put some thought into acquiring Henry. The current AFC North leaders are reportedly the "team most interested" in pulling off a trade for the three-time Pro Bowler. Such a move would require Baltimore to take on between $6.5 million to $7 million in remaining money on his contract. The soon-to-be free agent reached an agreement on a four-year, $50 million deal with Tennessee ahead of the 2020 season.
The Ravens are not in desperate need of a new starting running back. Gus Edwards and Justice Hill have anchored Baltimore’s run game ever since J.K. Dobbins suffered a season-ending torn Achilles injury during the team’s regular season opener against the Houston Texans. Overall, Baltimore ranks third this season in rushing yards per game with a 145.0 average.
For now, the Ravens will look to take care of business in their upcoming Week 8 road matchup against the Arizona Cardinals.
