There was a bit of worry earlier this week regarding Zay Flowers’ status for the Baltimore Ravens’ upcoming road matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Flowers was among 12 players who the Ravens included on their injury report for Week 12. The rookie wide receiver was limited in practice on Wednesday and went on to miss practice on Thursday due to a hip injury.
Flowers made his return to practice on Friday, as he was a full participant on the day.
Flowers later downplayed concerns regarding his hip ailment.
"I feel good, I’m ready to go," Flowers said on Friday. "I feel great."
When asked whether he feels like he will end up playing against the Chargers, the rookie wideout said "That wasn’t even a question. I had to take a little break really quick. Now, I’m back."
The Ravens ultimately ruled the former Boston College standout as questionable to play in Week 12 due to his hip injury.
Flowers is coming off of a promising performance against the Cincinnati Bengals in which he featured in 98 percent of snaps on offense and recorded three catches for 43 receiving yards.
Flowers currently leads all Ravens players in multiple stats this season, including in receiving yards (588).
