Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has been named AFC Offensive Player of the Month for December-January, the NFL announced on Thursday.
It is the third time in Jackson’s career that he has been awarded the AFC Offensive Player of the Month honor, with the previous time coming back in Sept. 2022. Jackson is one of four Ravens players all-time who have taken home at least three AFC Player of the Month honors.
Jackson was on top of his game in December, leading Baltimore to a 4-0 record. He tallied 11 touchdown passes and a 114.5 passer rating in such contests. He finished off the month by throwing five touchdown passes in the Ravens’ 56-19 home win over the Miami Dolphins.
Jackson is well expected to win the NFL MVP award for the second time in his career next month. He logged 4,499 total yards and 29 total touchdowns over 16 regular season games played.
Jackson currently has his sights set on the Ravens' AFC divisional round matchup coming up later this month.
