It appears, at first glance, that Brandon Beane has struck gold once again.

The Buffalo Bills spent valuable draft capital to get yet another weapon for their franchise quarterback. In the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft, Buffalo selected Utah TE Dalton Kincaid.

Kincaid was widely considered not only the best tight end in the draft class but perhaps the player with the best hands as well. From early reports, it looks like Kincaid may have a much larger role than that of a standard tight end. In fact, Brandon Beane even joked that instead of the 12 personnel set, the team would be deploying an 11.5 personnel set, highlighting the unique abilities Kincaid possesses and his non-traditional role in the offense.

It seems that Beane and the Bills' front office weren't the only ones impressed with the upcoming rookie's abilities. Former Bills legend and hall of fame wide receiver Andre Reed took to social media with his own thoughts on the young tight end.

A simple message quickly cause a media firestorm as the image went viral on multiple social platforms. The image of Reed with Kincaid was simply captioned, "After talking to this young man, I know the @buffalobills offense is about to be even more scary… Let's go @daltonkincaid."

Reed welcomed Kincaid to the NFL with confidence, reminding the tight end that he believed in him. Having a former legend and hall of famer, someone who is seen by so many as bigger-than-life, come out in support is an incredible introduction to the team and the NFL. The entire city, already, is behind the young man.

Kincaid has the weight of a city on his shoulders as Bills Mafia is hoping this next season is the one that will bring home a championship. Beane, over the past few seasons, has flirted at trying to run successful 12 personnel sets but wasn't able to find the right pieces. O.J. Howard and Jacob Hollister's short stints with the team are a perfect example of that.

While nothing is certain and there's a chance Kincaid could fail to live up to the sky-high expectations, his star is shining bright in Buffalo. The Bills front office along with Josh Allen and Andre Reed are all bought in, is that enough for you to believe in the young man?
