Brandon Beane and the Buffalo Bills front office are doing everything they can to make sure the product on the field is the best it can be.

Since the draft, they have been busy with UDFA signings and filling out the roster with some big splashes through free agency. Additionally, they have spent some time sending out invites to camp, giving some players a chance to make an NFL roster.

The XFL's Twitter account made the announcement that DB Antoine Brooks and T Eric Magwood were invited to the Buffalo Bills camp. They'll have their work cut out for them to make the roster but they're getting another shot at the NFL.

Brooks was a nickel cornerback who spent most of the season at the safety position for the Seattle Sea Dragons. That type of versatility is exactly what Sean McDermott loves to utilize. Antonie Brooks' 2023 ended with 44 total tackles, 1.5 sacks, and three tackles for loss.

In the same announcement, Eric Magwood also received an invite to join the Bills camp. The former St. Louis Battlehawk was a dominant tackle in limited playing time. Magwood came in and started due to a suspension and showed why he can play at the next level. Magwood jumped around during college, playing for Middle Tennessee, Eastern Kentucky, and Old Dominion.

Depth is never a bad thing, especially when you look at the state of the team last season. Injuries plagued the roster earlier in the year and some key injuries unfortunately were the difference-maker down the stretch.

While it's a long shot for either Brooks or Magwood to make the roster, they add important competition to what should be an already ultra-competitive camp. If Magwood or Brooks were able to crack the roster, we have a feeling they'd quickly become fan favorites.

For now, we'll just wait and see what other tricks Brandon Beane may have up his sleeve.
