The Buffalo Bills will have an added boost against the Chicago Bears this weekend.

Buffalo announced on Friday that wide receiver Cole Beasley has been elevated from the practice squad for the game against Chicago.

Defensive end Kingsley Jonathan was also elevated from the practice squad.

Beasley, who played three games with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers earlier this season before "retiring", was active for the Bills' game against the Miami Dolphins last Saturday night.

The veteran wide receiver, however, only saw one target in the game (which he caught for nine yards).

Beasley should see his role increase this week as he's been back for a couple of weeks and should have a full grasp of this season's offense.

As for Jonathan, he was originally signed by Buffalo after going undrafted earlier this spring. The Bills released Jonathan as part of final roster cuts in late August.

Chicago signed Jonathan and he appeared in five games, totaling four tackles, before being released and picked up by the Bills again. This could be considered a "revenge game" for Jonathan as I'm sure he'll be looking to show the Bears that they made a mistake.

Buffalo and Chicago will kick off at 1:00 PM ET on Saturday. It'll be the penultimate road game of the regular season for the Bills as they travel to Cincinnati to take on the Bengals next week before finishing at home against the New England Patriots.
