The Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott broke the news that S Jordan Poyer would not be activated in the upcoming contest against the Miami Dolphins. Buffalo lost a superstar player before one of their biggest games.

Additionally, the Dolphins will be without one of their premiere pass rushers in LB Jaelan Phillips, giving Josh Allen a huge boost in the contest which I previously wrote about.

The team wasted no time as news broke that S Damar Hamlin is reportedly being activated for the upcoming contest. Hamlin, who nearly died on the football field less than a year ago, wrote another chapter in his impressive journey back to the NFL.

Hamlin hasn't been activated yet this season as the team has designated him as a healthy scratch for the first 3 matchups. With Poyer going down, this move doesn't come as a surprise.

The Bills Mafia will get a chance to welcome Hamlin with open arms. We already know the stadium is going to be electric once he makes his return. A storybook moment for a player who has done so much for the world since his injury. While Taylor Rapp will most likely get the start, having Hamlin activated will go a long way for the team's depth.

Hamlin is beyond an inspiration and we're thrilled that he'll be on the field Sunday. While we wish Poyer would be healthy, Hamlin has proven he can be a difference-maker and will be ready for whatever the team needs him to do.
