Diggs has been thrown into the national spotlight after missing day one of mandatory camp. Since then, rumors have swirled about what's happening with the talented receiver.
One thing is for certain, Diggs needs to be involved more in the offense. Last season, the All-Pro receiver wasn't targeted or utilized nearly enough down the stretch, potentially adding more fuel to the heated conversations.
Enter DeAndre Hopkins. While a longshot, if the Bills were to add Hopkins, he's already letting his teammates know that he's got their back. Specifically, it would give a huge boost to Diggs.
While the tweet may seem harmless, it comes at the perfect time. There is a little bit of turmoil in the locker room that is dissolving more and more each day. While it may not be directed at Diggs and Buffalo, it would fit with the current situation.
Hopkins wants every team to know that he'll help out with more than just his pass-catching abilities. The superstar wide reciever is promising to make everyone around him's job easier. He wants his future teammates to know that whoever is in his upcoming receiving room, he promises to make their job easier.
Diggs paired with Hopkins would be a nightmare matchup for opposing defenses. Hopkins has expressed interest in joining the team to team up with Josh Allen, let's see if Brandon Beane has any magic up his sleeve to make it happen.
