The Buffalo Bills are gearing up for the showdown of the season against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Josh Allen and company look to be getting healthier each week, as the most recent injury report indicates.
Just days before the matchup, NFL analysts Chris Simms and Ahmed Fareed previewed the matchup between the two juggernauts.
Controversial segment
During the segment, Chris Simms gave the Bills the ultimate bulletin board material. Simms was quick to point out that the Bills running game would suffer. Specifically, they wouldn't be able to do anything on the Cincinnati Bengals' defense.
Warning: Explicit language, view discretion advised
Simms commented: "There is no F***ing way the Bills are going to run the ball on the Cincinnati Bengals."
The comment comes a week after the Bills ran roughshod on the Bears to the tune of 250+ yards. In his defense, and something Simms commented on, the Bills played the Bears defense which is night and day compared to the Bengals.
Don't poke the bear
Bulletin board material for this scrappy Bills team will do nothing but help them. Throughout the course of the last 20 years, there has been plenty of reason to doubt professional football in Buffalo.
However, Josh Allen on primetime is a different animal entirely, and you may be weary to go and poke the bear.
The Bills' resurgence of their running game has been a welcomed sight after it appeared it would be one of their biggest weaknesses early on.
Bills dominant stat
Specifically, Buffalo is the only team in the NFL to have 100+ rushing yards in every game this season.
Simms made some excellent points, talking about the stout Bengals defense and how it would cause trouble for Allen and company. He went on to discuss Leslie Frazier's unique defense and how it could be problematic for Burrow, as well.
However, the majority of the conversation seemed to lean toward a Bengals victory. That their impressive season would just be too much and in Bills fashion, Buffalo would lose yet again.
Buffalo versus everyone
It seems like the world is against Buffalo, as more analysts were given the opportunity to pick who they thought would win the game.
The underdog mentality has fared well for the Bills in recent years. However, expectations have never been higher for the team and the city. Coming into the season, and still, there's very much a Super Bowl or bust type mentality.
Buffalo is red-hot right now and can make a huge statement with a victory on Monday Night Football.
Bills Mafia loves it when their team are underdogs, here's hoping for a battle.
