The Buffalo Bills just cannot stay healthy right now. For weeks, the team has had some pretty brutal injuries to their roster. DaQuan Jones, Matt Milano, and Tre'Davious White all of whom may not play a single snap this season.

To add insult to injury (no pun intended) the Buffalo Bills were having an injury concern with their superstar QB earlier in the week. Allen banged up his shoulder and needed X-rays immediately after the contest against the New York Giants and was later deemed "day to day" by the head coach.

Now, before the contest against the New England Patriots, Sean McDermott has announced a slew of key players would be out for the upcoming game against the New England Patriots.

While the Patriots are struggling to get anything going, it's a division rivalry and in the NFL, no game is a guaranteed victory. The Patriots will look to capitalize on the losses for the Bills to swing the momentum in their favor.

The Bills head coach has officially ruled out Ed Oliver, Quintin Morris, and Damien Harris ahead of their upcoming contest. Harris was a given after a scary injury during the Giants in which he needed to be carted off the field. Morris actually suffered a tweak before his impressive touchdown. However, perhaps the biggest loss is that of Ed Oliver.

Oliver got paid before the season began and has been playing some elite football. The Bills have a tough task ahead of them trying to match his output with the guys further down the depth chart. The loss of Oliver for this game cannot be overstated with just how valuable he is to this defense and this team, especially taking into consideration the losses the defense has faced already during this short NFL season. A major blow to an otherwise dominant unit.

Now, the biggest question will be that of Josh Allen and his shoulder. While all signs point to him being able to play as he's been practicing all week, how limited will he be with his shoulder injury?

Not the update you want heading into a big matchup against a division rival. If there's one thing McDermott has nailed since arriving in Buffalo, it's his next-man-up type mentality.

Buffalo will need that in a big way on Sunday.
