The Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals will face off this weekend in the Divisional Round of the 2023 NFL playoffs.

Both of their quarterbacks are among the best in the league. Many folks would have them both in their top three in the entire NFL.

As of late, an odd narrative has jumped into the sound waves of social media regarding Josh Allen and Joe Burrow.

Some talking heads or keyboard warriors believe that they are turning the football over too much. They're being too aggressive/careless with the ball, according to some.

That really isn't the case for the Bills or Bengals QB.

Over the last two months, the Bills and Bengals are each 8-0. They haven't lost, even if the two have turned the ball over a bit more often than usual. Their positive plays have heavily outweighed the negative ones.

In that span, check out their stats.

Allen: 21 TDs, 9 turnovers

Burrow: 20 TDs, 7 turnovers

Their stats are almost identical, and both of their teams could not have been more successful to end the season.

Nitpicking their performances doesn't dismiss the team's success.

Not to mention, both players are firmly in the MVP race in the AFC. Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes will probably win it, but they have still played up to that caliber at their position.

Both Allen and Burrow understand their skillsets, but they also know that their physical talent allows them to take chances that many others cannot afford to take. Would fans like for them to be a bit more careful with the ball in certain situations?

Sure. That goes both ways, though.

Taking chances works out more often than not for talents like Allen and Burrow. Some people need a reality check when it comes to today's NFL landscape at quarterback.
