The Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen once again reminded the NFL that he's elite, that he's one of the very best players in the entire league. There was an annoying narrative after Week 1 that Allen isn't that dude anymore. Yesterday definitely proved otherwise.

Allen let his play do the talking and it sent a defiant message to anyone who may be doubting his abilities: Don't.

In the contest, Allen was able to break multiple NFL records and truly set himself above the rest of the competition. Allen is a top 3 QB in the NFL and he isn't number three.

Specifically, in the contest, Allen thrashed the Dolphins for total touchdowns in a performance that saw him have more touchdowns than incompletions on the day. To add the cherry on top, he had a perfect passer rating and for the third straight game allowed backup QB Kyle Allen to enter the contest to finish up the game.

With his performance, Allen joined only Aaron Rodgers with an impressive collection of stats. As Ari Meirov on X reported, Allen is the second player in NFL history to have at least 300 passing yards with four passing TDs, one rushing TD, and a perfect passer rating in the same game.

If this is what regression looks like for a QB, we really hope Allen continues to decline. Week 1 is historically an anomaly and the Buffalo Bills have found a way to bounce back in a big way after their devastating loss to the New York Jets.

In just a matter of 3 weeks, Buffalo is back to atop the AFC East and looks like one of, if not, the best teams in the entire league. Bills Mafia kept their receipts and their pettiness brings a smile to my face.

Josh Allen, QB1 forever.
