The Buffalo Bills QB has been front and center in the national spotlight with a nagging shoulder injury he suffered in the way-too-close-for-comfort victory over the New York Giants on Sunday Night Football.
While fans were still emotionally recovering from the last-second win, the team quickly announced after the game that their superstar QB would need x-rays, immediately giving fans a reason to be concerned.
Then, Sean McDermott provided an update that Allen was "day to day" which didn't help the nerves of the fanbase any. Earlier this afternoon, McDermott gave an important update on Allen, telling the media that he would be participating in practice.
Now, after practice, Allen opened up to the media about his injury and gave a definitive answer on what's going on and whether he will be okay to play in their upcoming contest against the division rival New England Patriots.
The talented QB's brief comments on his injury can be found at the 0:43 second mark of the video below.
Asked if he had any concern about his shoulder heading into the matchup, Allen didn't hold back, "No concern, we'll be ready to go."
There it is! In all seriousness, did you doubt that Allen would be saying anything other than he was going to be a full go? He's a ridiculous athlete who will do absolutely everything he can to be on the football field in hopes of leading his team to a victory.
All that's left to do is wait until gameday and see if the shoulder has any impact on his performance. If there's a QB in the NFL who is an expert at overcoming adversity, it's Josh Allen.
