The Buffalo Bills got the job done in the Wild Card round. Josh Allen dominated on the ground and through the air. Their defense got stops when it mattered most. Overall, they got the performance they desperately needed to feel positive headed into the division round.

Who awaits? None other than Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. Buffalo will host KC, the first ever road game in the playoffs for Mahomes.

Allen has found success against Mahomes and the Chiefs in the regular season. The postseason has been a different story for #17 against Kansas City.

Josh Allen owns a 3-1 record against Mahomes' Chiefs during the regular season. In the playoffs, he is winless in two game against them entering the 2024 matchup.

For Allen, it is a huge opportunity. He cannot seem to get the monkey off of his back in this matchup when it matters most. Now, he may have his best chance that he's ever had.

The Chiefs do not posses the high-powered wide receivers that they've had in the past, and their offensive line has shown weaknesses at times this season. Meanwhile, the Bills offense has looked better than it has in quite awhile in recent weeks.

The Bills must run the ball effectively against KC in order to set up deep shots for Allen's arm. They were well-balanced against the Steelers, and that must continue if they want to see the AFC championship game.

Individually, Allen has performed well in his two games in the postseason vs. Kansas City, but it has not been enough for the Bills. In those bouts, he's totaled 6 touchdowns and just 1 interception. He's thrown for over 600 yards in those two games combined, too.

Buffalo knew that a rematch with Mahomes and the Chiefs was very possible at some point during the postseason. This season, it will come with a chance at a berth in the final four of the NFL postseason.

They just beat the Pittsburgh Steelers to earn a divisional berth, and some players stepped up in a major way.  Linebacker A.J. Klein was one of the depth pieces to make plays for Buffalo in […]
