Things got heated in the contest between the Buffalo Bills and New York Giants late in the third quarter. Plenty of players were thrown to the ground, and some people were kicked, but ultimately there were no disqualifications.
Toward the end of the skirmish, Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen got himself involved and put his body on the line for his teammates. Allen is fired up and putting his body on the line to stand up for his teammates.
The play resulted in offsetting penalties and Buffalo wound up getting a touchdown. This might've been exactly what they needed to wake up a little bit. The team was flat throughout the contest on both sides of the football. Some of this could be from the terrifying injury to Damien Harris, who needed to be taken off the field by an ambulance.
Just add another impressive feat for Josh Allen. He can hurdle linebackers, stiff-arm safeties, and throw his body on the line for his teammates when an all-out brawl breaks out.
There's a reason the Bills Mafia loves him so much, his passion on the football field is unmatched. While we may hold our breaths anytime Allen rolls out of the pocket and makes an insane play, we love him for it.
It's not every day you see your franchise QB throwing himself into the middle of a fight to stick up for his offensive linemen, further proof that Allen is just a different kind of special.
Luckily, no one got hurt. At this point, that's all that matters.
