The Buffalo Bills offense has found their stride early in the contest against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on "Thursday Night Football." Allen has been finding his receivers early and often, giving the Bills Mafia a reason to breathe easy.
In a bizarre set of circumstances, Josh Allen was taken into the blue medical tent. Kyle Allen appeared on the sideline warming up, giving fans a reason to be concerned. Luckily, Allen had his helmet back on and was on the field.
Before this incident, Allen found a way to cement himself in NFL history. Allen, once again, put the team on his shoulders and fought his way into the endzone for another impressive rushing touchdown.
With his score, Allen tied legendary QB Steve Young for the second-most rushing touchdowns by a quarterback in NFL history, trailing only Cam Newton. Allen has plenty left in the tank for his career and has a real chance to crack the number one spot, if the team will allow him to run the ball, that is.
With Allen having to go to the blue medical tent after taking a pretty rough bump out of bounds, he may be calling it a day in the rushing category. Losing him for any substantial time is the stuff of nightmares for a team looking to get back to their winning ways.
Luckily, the team avoided disaster and Allen was able to go in, so we can celebrate his historic milestone. Buffalo needs to play an entire football game in all three phases on the game to knock out some of the bad taste that's been lingering in our mouths over the past few weeks.
