The Buffalo Bills have a shot at securing the top seed in the AFC if they close out the regular season with two wins. But that's easier said than done as their upcoming rival is looking like one of the most dangerous teams in the NFL.

The Cincinnati Bengals can do it all.

Joe Burrow leads a versatile offense that can play whatever game the opposing defense dictates. On the other side of the football, they've got one of the very best second-half defenses in the league with playmakers such as nose tackle D.J. Reader and edge rusher Trey Hendrickson.

And between you and me, I think they carry a unique kind of momentum into this one. This Bengals team changed its motto from last year's "Why not us?" to "They have to play us" this year. They're on a seven-game winning streak and resemble a team with answers to everything.

But while most of the chatter entering this game between the Bills and the Bengals centers around the top seed in the conference, this one is about much more than that.

Simply put, these are two great teams ravenous to prove something. It's got "big" written all over it.

Joe Buck called this the biggest Monday Night Football in decades.

In Cincinnati, people are describing it as the biggest game in stadium history.

It's the third time in NFL history that two big 11-win teams square off in the most famous primetime slot in sports.

For the Bills, it feels more like a measuring stick kind of game but let me be very clear. Not because they'll measure themselves against the Bengals but rather because they'll measure themselves against the insane expectations set for them in the offseason.

This Bills team became the overwhelming Super Bowl favorite since free agency even though they lost in the Divisional Round. Early in the season, they were leaving no doubts. They got off to a fantastic start dominating opponents.

Since then, a loaded AFC has muddied the picture a little bit. The Kansas City Chiefs look scary even though Buffalo already beat them. We've already described the Bengals. And wild card teams don't look like "easy" opponents as the conference will likely feature some of the best quarterback matchups available in the NFL in January.

But these are the Super Bills! They're supposed to be better.

They've got a superhero playing quarterback in Josh Allen. A true playmaker who can make the best out of broken plays. He's got Stefon Diggs and a running game that's waking up deep into the season.

And in terms of depth, there might be none better than the Bills'. They've consistently overcome injuries this season including at edge rusher following Von Miller's season-ending injury.

Can they enter Paycor Stadium on Monday Night, in front of a fanbase that's been dreaming of a scene like this since they can remember, and beat Joe Cool and company?

It won't be easy at all. But if these are the Bills we've expected them to be all this time, we can't ask for a better scene for them to prove it.
