Things got heated at the most recent practice for the Buffalo Bills.
Literal helmets were flying, and Josh Allen was screaming, it was not good. This isn't the first time a fight has broken out at practice as last season, Allen went viral for a heated exchange after running in a touchdown and taking a little bump at the end of it.
Sal Capaccio, Bills beat and sideline reporter discussed what went down at practice.
Reportedly, there was a big fight and Dodson reportedly started swinging their helmet over the top of the pile. Josh Allen and Dodson got into a heated exchange which included Spencer Brown before everyone separated.
I don't like hearing "helmets swinging" and "Josh Allen" in the same vicinity. The escalation is dangerous and someone could've gotten seriously hurt. Sean McDermott and the front office are sure to address this immediately as this could've jeopardized the team's future with one selfish act.
Heated exchanges are fine, and tempers flaring just brings out healthy competition, but the second a helmet starts swinging, that crosses a major line.
Diggs got into the mix with a heated moment of his own. Capaccio further reported the separate incident that had taken place with their superstar WR.
Diggs was apparently upset after a pass was defended by Siran Neal in which Diggs took it up himself to throw up a monster block on Taron Johnson. Afterward, Johnson and Diggs had a few words. Diggs, adding the cherry on top, caught a touchdown from Josh Allen toward the end of practice and made sure the defense knew about it.
I can't believe I need to say this, protect Josh Allen at all costs. That INCLUDES helmets being thrown by his own teammates.

The Buffalo Bills suffered a blow to their offensive line as it was reported OL Brandon Shell would be retiring from the NFL. An important depth piece lost for the season.
