The Buffalo Bills are making moves this offseason.
While Brandon Beane has come out and said the team wouldn't be making any "splash" moves like the Von Miller acquisition from the year before, the team is still doing their due diligence and bringing in important pieces.
Brandon Beane and the Buffalo Bills front office have been able to restructure, re-sign, and bring in new talent to help fill out the roster.
Now, the team is continuing to look to bolster the already impressive offensive unit with a Pro Bowl player: Latavius Murray.
While the front office is taking the time to meet with draft prospects ahead of the upcoming NFL draft, Brandon Beane and company are making sure they are doing their due diligence by keeping an eye on the free agent market. Another year, another veteran running back Beane has his eyes on. It seems every season the Bills' general manager is bringing in another 2-3 running backs to fill out that room.
Getting Josh Allen another weapon will never be a bad thing. You can't give a franchise quarterback with a rocket arm too many weapons and Murray would be just that, another weapon for Allen. Outside of his abilities on the football field, Murray is a veteran in this league and would be able to provide James Cook with a blueprint for success.
Now, the running back room is quickly becoming a crowded one, especially if the Bills move forward with Murray. Undoubtedly, the organization would most likely have to make some tough decisions with James Cook, Nyheim Hines, and Damien Harris filling out the backfield currently.
With the draft rapidly approaching, Brandon Beane and the Bills' front office will be making some tough decisions in order to fill out the rest of the roster. We have a feeling Murray isn't the last name that will be making a visit to One Bills Drive.
