The Buffalo Bills have had an interesting day.

We reported on the drama unfolding with WR Stefon Diggs reportedly wanting out of Buffalo which through us through a spin. In the past 24 hours, the team has brought in some reinforcements to the offense as OT Tommy Doyle was lost for the season.

The team brought in Garrett McGhin, a depth signing for the team, but they weren't done there. After Nyheim Hines went down with an injury, there was rumbling that the team might go after another RB to have some depth in that room, they looked to the AFC East rival in order to accomplish that.

Jeremy Fowler reported that Buffalo plans to sign former Jets RB Ty Johnson who had worked out with the team and is cleared from a torn pec. Johnson, while joining the team late, can help Buffalo's third-down offense after losing Hines to a season-ending injury.

Johnson, entering his fifth season, has amassed 62 games with six starts, 208 carries for 925 yards and four touchdowns. He added 86 receptions for 668 yards and three touchdowns, showcasing he can provide Josh Allen with a safety valve in the passing game.

The 25-year-old has spent time with the Detroit Lions before spending the next couple of seasons with the New York Jets.

We much rather would've preferred that the Bills beefed up their offensive line or took a shot at finding a middle linebacker, but depth is important even at the RB decision.
