The Buffalo Bills are gearing up for a showdown against the Minnesota Vikings.

All eyes are on Buffalo as their star quarterback, Josh Allen, continues to deal with a reported elbow injury.

Sean McDermott has given an update that Allen is "day-to-day."

Similarly, national pundits have discussed that this injury will all come down to Allen's pain tolerance.

Nevertheless, fans of the Bills are eagerly waiting for any news of the star quarterback's availability.

An unexpected update

Dawson Knox, one of Allen's favorite targets, has provided an update on Allen and his availability.

Hearing that Allen is in good spirits is incredible news for Bills Mafia.

The thought of losing Allen for the season was making its rounds across social media almost immediately after the injury.

The leader of the locker room being in good spirits may not translate to being ready for Sunday, but it's a step in the right direction.

Injuries are back

Allen isn't the only star player who is at risk of missing time for the upcoming game.

It appears that the nasty injury bug that had plagued the team at the beginning of the season is back.

While it's positive news to see Dane Jackson and Matt Milano practicing, the loss of Tremaine Edmunds and potentially Jordan Poyer may worry some Bills fans.

Last week, Milano and Poyer were out of the matchup and their presence was greatly missed.

Each and every week is another opportunity for the Bills to work toward the goal of having the playoffs run through Buffalo.

With crucial injuries to both offense and defense, the goal now is health and getting everyone back together for a playoff push.

It's not quite time to hit the panic button yet, but it's getting close.
