The Buffalo Bills WR Stefon Diggs is an absolute game-changer on the football field and is one of the most fun players in the league to watch.
Paired with QB Josh Allen, the two have been dominant since joining forces. That was on perfect display in their loss to the New York Jets as Diggs finished with 10 catches for 102 yards and a touchdown.
However, most of the offseason was spent talking about Diggs in a less-than-ideal way. Cryptic messages, trade rumors, and a "very concerned" from Sean McDermott on day one of the mandatory practices spread like wildfire across social media.
Now, on the most recent iteration of the Von Cast with pass-rusher Von Miller, Diggs opened up on everything, providing an inside look at some of the perceived controversies and where he stands with Josh Allen.
Von Miller began, "It was love between you and Josh. Over the offseason, there was a lot of rumors, a lot of trade rumors, a lot of chatter. This was a different picture than what we saw the last time we played them last season. Do you feel like there was any misconceptions or anything that happened between you and Josh over the offseason?"
"Yeah cause, you're going after the 20-game season. Your last image of me and Josh was after the fourth down. A picture is worth a thousand words, so you can garnish whatever you want from that image and create a narrative behind it and it will fit.
"Offseason there's no football being played, it's just a lot of commentary, he or she says. For me, I feel like the comments and sentiment was I wanted to leave but I never said that." Dropping the hammer on all the rumors and offseason controversies, Diggs finished with, "It never came out of my mouth, I never had a conversation with anybody."
Speaking on one of his cryptic tweets that was simply "Comeeeeee anddddd rescue me…" Diggs had the following to say, "Damn, I thought we all listened to Drake at one point… Sometimes I do poke the bear at people all the time." He continued, "Majority of the time, it's Twitter or Instagram and I say it's social media, use it how you want."
The superstar WR gave an inside look at his mindset, "I'm honest with whatever I say. But I feel like at one point some people dive too deep into things or take it however they want to take it." Diggs continued, "I'm not responsible for how people react to things. I'm not responsible for how somebody feels. I'm moreso responsible for how I carry and I'm just happy to have my quarterback."
Diggs, once again, goes to bat for his QB and lets the world know there's nothing but love between him and the Bills organization, specifically Josh Allen.
