The Buffalo Bills' victory over the Miami Dolphins was a classic to start the contest. Both teams were trading touchdowns and it seemed like it had all the makings for an instant classic.
That's when Sean McDermott locked down Tua Tagovailoa and Tyreek Hill and Josh Allen with Stefon Diggs and the offense put their foot on the gas pedal and put the game away with some big plays and crucial conversions.
Diggs and Allen's relationship has been front and center in the national media. From cryptic messages, a bizarre Stephen A. Smith segment in which he shared he had inside sources claiming Diggs wanted to be gone (Diggs shut that down immediately), and Diggs even opening up to the media during training camp, he's been front and center in the national spotlight.
All of this stemmed from the heated sideline exchange the two had during the playoff loss to the Cincinnati Bengals that feels like years ago.
Now, there's been another sideline moment that's capturing the attention of the national media for all the right reasons. Allen and Diggs, during the contest, were spotted on the sideline in a moment that all but destroys the narrative that these two aren't close, or that there's bad blood between Diggs and his QB or the entire organization.
They're goofballs, to put plainly, and we love every second of it. You can tell just by looking at Diggs' face that he's an ultimate competitor and is always locked in. The two could be seen giving each other some words of encouragement before a very enthusiastic high-five.
After big wins, dominant wins for that matter, it's clear that these two are loving life and at the end of the day, they are only focused on just that, winning. It's funny how quickly the narrative that Diggs is unhappy dies down whenever Buffalo is firing on all cylinders.
For that reason alone, we hope that the team can continue their winning ways and provide us with even more incredible sideline moments like this. Today, much like last week and the week before, is a good day to be a member of the Bills Mafia.
Bills’ Josh Allen defiantly shuts down notion that he’s not elite
The Buffalo Bills were written off by the national media after a Week 1 loss. Safe to say those critics have been awfully quiet over the past 24 hours.
