The Buffalo Bills have found a gem in Stefon Diggs. While he was acquired via trade, Diggs's contributions on and off the field have been elite.

After the Bills devastating playoff loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, Bengals cornerback Eli Apple went on Twitter to troll Diggs and the Buffalo Bills roster.

Not surprisingly, the Bills Mafia and the sports world didn't take too kindly to the Bengals star seemingly using Hamlin to attack the Bills. However, in a later tweet, Apple clarified what he had originally meant.

After last night's loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, Stefon Diggs made sure the world knew that he kept his receipts. The All-Pro wide receiver clapped back at Eli Apple, and the fans loved it.

Diggs didn't call out Apple by name, but in a flurry of tweets made sure his thoughts were loud and clear.

Other players respond

Diggs wasn't the only one who had apparently kept receipts after Eli Apple called out the entire Bills roster over the loss. Other Bills players were sure to not keep quiet, lashing out at the cornerback immediately following the loss.

While none of the players called Apple out by name, it was apparent who their trolling was targeted at. Apple got the win at Highmark Stadium and was loud and proud with his comments immediately following. Now, it appears that it may have bit him as the Buffalo Bills roster responded with a barrage of tweets following the Bengals' loss.

While the season didn't end the way the Buffalo Bills or their fans wanted, this was a lone bright spot in the otherwise lackluster beginning of the offseason.

This surely won't make up for the pain of the loss, but it's a step in the right direction. Diggs made sure Eli Apple and the entire world knew what he thought after the Bengals' exit in the AFC Championship Game.

Buffalo is up against it in terms of cap space with plenty of work in the offseason.

Here's hoping Stefon Diggs brutally trolling a Bengals player isn't the only move the Buffalo Bills make during this extremely important offseason.
