The Buffalo Bills have been waiting for an update on Von Miller’s knee injury with bated breath. On Tuesday night, Miller disclosed his timetable to return on his podcast, appropriately titled The Voncast.

“The news is not the best of news, but it’s definitely not the worst of news. It’s kind on in the middle,” Miller disclosed.

“I didn’t tear my ACL, but I do have some lateral meniscus damage and it’s going to have to be addressed. But I do feel like I can play through that, so I’m just going to wait a little and let the swelling go down for about 7-10 days and hopefully, right before the Jets game, I will be back.”

Miller went on to say that he doesn’t want to go into “superhero” mode and make a return before his body is ready.

Now, whether the team’s medical staff believes that is the best decision for Miller and the team remains to be seen. Buffalo shouldn’t need the 12-year veteran to be out there if he isn't 100 percent healthy.

However, it’s a positive sign for Miller’s availability in the all-important divisional clash against the Miami Dolphins in Week 15. Buffalo will need all hands on deck, as long as they feel comfortable in Miller’s status.
