The Buffalo Bills are traveling to London to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars. Unfortunately, the main storyline after their last contest has been that of losing All-Pro CB Tre'Davious White for the season.
However, during a recent episode of Von Miller's podcast the Von Cast the superstar pass rusher caused a media firestorm with his announcement heading into the contest.
Take everything with the largest possible grain of salt, but Miller wants to play in this contest. With Sean McDermott announcing that his practice window has opened, the team now has 21 days to activate him to the active roster.
When talking about his return, Miller was as optimistic as he's ever been, "Hopefully I look amazing tomorrow and everybody will give me the green light to go play in the game. If I was a betting man I'd say you'll see Von Miller in London."
This isn't the first time Miller gave a wildly optimistic outlook on when his return could be from a torn ACL. During the offseason, Miller hinted at the idea that he could return for Week 1 this season, before ultimately being placed on the PUP list, meaning he couldn't be activated until after Week 4.
Nevertheless, Miller knows how to pump up the Bills Mafia and while we don't think there's any real chance he will lace up the cleats in London, he's going to be back sooner rather than later.
McDermott's defense has been wreaking havoc on opposing offenses, forcing even the number one offense in the NFL to bend to his will. Losing White for the season hurts, but getting Miller back on an already impressive defensive line is going to be a game-changer.
Whether it's in London, or it's in 3 weeks from now, we can't wait to see Miller back on the football field.
New York Governor is literally changing the law because of the Bills
Bills Mafia, take notes.
