Despite being one of most explosive offenses the NFL has to offer, the Buffalo Bills still have one glaring weakness.

Bills QB Josh Allen led the team to a 38-3 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 5. Allen threw for 421 yards on 20-of-31 passing with four touchdowns and one interception. He tacked on a team-high 42 rushing yards on five carries to top it all off.

Allen in inevitable. He’s going to get his numbers one way or another.

However, the team has struggled to find a decent rushing attack over the last few seasons. With capable running backs in Devin Singletary, Zach Moss, and James Cook, one would assume Allen wouldn’t be leading the team in rushing yards on the season, which he is.

There isn’t a single team in this league that is flawless, especially through just five games.

It’s much easier to work on your problems following a win. If this group can hang 38 points on a Steelers defense that is feared around the league, there is no telling what kind of damage they could do with an improved ground game.

With an overload of talent on the offensive side of the football, establishing a reliable run game would turn this superb offense into a juggernaut.
