On a day that sees a lot of attention paid to current stars signing to new teams, the Buffalo Bills kept one of their homegrown talents in Buffalo.

The Bills are re-signing edge rusher A.J. Epenesa to a two-year contract, according to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network.

Epenesa was third on the team in sacks in 2023 with 6.5. The Bills re-signed the Iowa product shortly after Leonard Floyd signed with the San Francisco 49ers.

On top of the 6.5 sacks, Epenesa also had two interceptions in 2023, as well as 18 hurries and 29 pressures on the quarterback, according to PFF. He also had a very good 80.3 grade from PFF. With the Bills not having a real option behind Epenesa, bringing him back on board was a solid move. Don't be surprised if edge rusher is still something the Bills look to address early on in the draft, or throughout the remainder of free agency.
