The Buffalo Bills and quarterback Josh Allen will have plenty of new faces to get acquainted with and used to after a mass reformation of their wide receivers room.
The most notable name in that group of new pass catchers is rookie Keon Coleman out of Florida State.
Speaking with Doug Farrar of USA Today's Touchdown Wire, Allen gave a glowing review of his newest target.
"I think my first impressions are that he loves football," Allen said. "And that’s the number one thing. Guys who love football and do things the right way typically play a long time in this league. So, he’s definitely got the makeup and the mindset. He’s learning the playbook at an accelerated rate — we’re kind of throwing him into the fire in OTAs right now and forcing his hand there, which is good to see. But he’s handling it in stride. Physically, he’s a big guy who can move and drop his hips — he can move and catch a back-shoulder ball. The physical attributes are there, and it’s fun to play with that."
Allen also spoke about the other receivers that have been added to the roster.
"We’ve got a lot of new guys in the room," Allen said. "Bringing in Curtis Samuel and Mack Hollins and MVS [Marquez Valdes-Scantling] and Chase Claypool and a couple other guys — it’s cool to see how the new guys are working right now. Everybody’s hungry to go out there and prove what they’ve got, and we’re having a very competitive OTA right now."
The star quarterback seems enthused and excited about what 2024 has in store for the Bills, and there seems to be a lot less drama following the organization.
