The Buffalo Bills (11-3) latest win over the Miami Dolphins (8-6) not only keep them at the number one seed in the AFC, but are now only one game away from winning the AFC East for the third-straight season for the first time since 1988-91.

For much of the game, the weather and snow were the talk coming into Buffalo. "Snowmageddon Part 2" as some had billed the game. However, we got plenty of ground and pound and an ideal matchup of Pro Bowl quarterback play.

Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa vs Bills QB Josh Allen.

Ultimately, it was Allen who not only would secure the victory but play one of his best, most important games of the season. And the NFL agrees.

After his strong performance on Saturday night, Allen this week's AFC Offensive Player of the Week.

Completing 25/40 passes (62.5%) for 304 yards and four touchdowns. As well as 10 rushes for 77 yards, including a crucial two-point conversion. The bulk of passes going to TE Dawson Knox and WR Stefon Diggs, in a record-setting pursuit.

The Buffalo Bills were thought to have hit their ceiling early this season. Back-to-back losses to the New York Jets and Minnesota Vikings, plus lackadaisical performances against the Green Bay Packers had many believe the Bills were on the downward side of the season.

Instead, in the last five games, the Bills have lost their best defensive player in Von Miller, as well as being displaced for two games, and Buffalo has overcome everything. Going 5-0 with Allen at the helm.

Games like this at the team's current rate should only benefit them moving into the postseason.
