Once Hamlin was on stage, he broke down. The weight of the moment was one of the biggest in recent memory and something that will live with those recipients, and Hamlin, for the rest of his life.
Everyone could be seen hugging on staging in one large embrace, the entire room standing applauding the heroes on stage. Nyheim Hines running back the opening kick against the Patriots for a touchdown in the Bills next game gave the entire world goosebumps, this did the same.
Denny Kellington, and all of the heroes that day, are part of something so much bigger than sports.

We all watched the situation unfolding on Monday Night Football as Joe Buck and Troy Aikman were trying to navigate the waters and we all at home feared for the absolute worst. But as we watched on, we saw something that we could have never expected. Denny Kellington and the Buffalo Bills training staff. The EMTs, the doctors at the hospital, the teammates and the will to survive by Damar Hamlin has him heretonight, here a tr all, and back playing football running faster than he's ever run before.
Once Hamlin had gone down, it was Kellington that started administering life-saving CPR on Hamlin. The quick thinking from the Bills' assistant athletic trainer was a big reason why Hamlin is alive today.
Seeing Hamlin and the Buffalo Bills organization honored at such a high level, on one of the biggest stages, is sure to bring a smile to the eyes of the Bills Mafia.
