Dolphins' Tyreek Hill on the Bills Mafia: "I feel like the fan base is just like any other fan base"

If Tyreek Hill was intentionally trying to rile up the fanbase before the upcoming matchup against the Buffalo Bills, it worked.
Hill and Tua are shining this season, dropping a 70 burger on the Denver Broncos with McDaniels shining in every decision he makes. The team is good, Hill is good, and he's stoking the flames of a classic rivalry. A really, really good rivalry at that.
Hill poked the bear with a direct shot at the Bills Mafia, right after Josh Allen demanded the fanbase be loud for their highly-anticipated matchup.
According to Pro Football Network, the superstar wide receiver opened up on what it's going to be like to play in Orchard Park. "I just feel like it's not any different from an away game." Hill continued, "They got a great team. I feel like the fan base is just like any other fan base. So it's gonna be just like a normal environment, you know, to us."
Bills Mafia is anything but a normal fan base. Before you even step foot in the stadium the fanbase douses Pinto Ron with ketchup and mustard after a legendary tailgate. No matter the weather, he gets covered head to toe.
Walking to the stadium, the shout song is blaring over and over with fans just as enthusiastic with each version (they shouldn't play the song after a field goal, I'm sorry).
Whatever is going to happen in a few hours is meaningless for the fanbase, Bills football is back and it's going to be a party.
Outside of that, the fanbase knows charity unlike any other in the league. Whenever a Bills player goes down, the fanbase is there backing them up. Even when it's not a Buffalo victory, the fanbase donates just as passionately.
Sometimes, the fanbase shows love and charity to players not even on the roster. Andy Dalton's foundation exploded with donations for helping Buffalo squeak into the playoffs. Tua saw over a thousand donations to his charity when he got injured during the Bills game, the list goes on and on.
The rivalry is renewed, and Hill is adding some bulletin board material for a Bills team hitting their stride, understanding just how much the fanbase loves their team and will defend them without pause.
While the Washington Commanders' victory was fun, this will be the first big test for the team, and a win would do wonders. Without Leslie Frazier, Sean McDermott has appeared to unlock something in the defense. If he can find a way to shut down Miami, it'll go a long way.
The game feels far bigger than a late September contest. Hill stoking the flames and getting the crowd rowdy in the upcoming contest could prove to be a difference-maker.
I cannot wait until Sunday.
