The Buffalo Bills superstar LB Matt Milano was carted off the field with a scary injury that saw his leg get caught up in a pile and he was writhing in pain. Immediately, Milano was taken to the blue medical tent before being carted off the field and ruled out.

A week after the team lost their All-Pro CB Tre'Davious White, the team may be losing their All-Pro LB as everyone is holding their breath and hoping for the best. I previously wrote about his injury and how devastating it would be for Buffalo.

Now, a former NFL head doctor has given his own diagnosis of Milano's injury, and it isn't good. David J. Chao, ex-NFL head team doctor for over 17 years provided an update after looking at Milano's cast.

Chao confirmed that it was an aircast for Milano as the true cast material isn't available in the blue tent. From his perspective, he is guessing that it's at least a significant MCL tear with a possibility for more. This would mean that the IR is coming for Milano, potentially ending his season.

The team is battling through a slew of injuries, even before kickoff, as Christian Benford, Shaq Lawson, and Greg Rousseau were ruled out. The team is going to find themselves in an incredibly difficult position if Milano is lost for the season.
