For yet another practice, the Buffalo Bills franchise quarterback has gotten banged up.

Previously, it was getting hit by Taron Johnson after Ken Dorsey drew up the Philly Special at the end of practice. Allen got rocked and the entire camp was holding their breath. Allen stayed on the ground for a few seconds before springing back up and running over to the huddle.

Today, it appears that there was yet another injury for the franchise quarterback. All reports from camp today have been that the offensive line has been getting beat, badly, which has left Allen open for some shots.

The offensive line had pushed back into the franchise quarterback in which he seemed to have stepped on something and had gone down hard again. Trainers immediately rushed over and began taking a look at his lower right foot/ankle/leg area.

Anytime Allen, or any other QB in the league goes down, the mind goes to the worst place imaginable. Luckily, after a few moments, Allen had taken off his shoe, got some tape, and was limping back around the field.

Consecutive days in which Allen unnecessarily went down and was briefly injured aren't a trend the team wants to continue.

At this point, wrap him up in bubble wrap, and don't let anyone come within a few feet of him. Allen, throughout his career, hasn't shied away from taking contact and doing whatever he can to win.

For training camp, let's limit the number of times he goes down or gets hit.
