Buffalo Bills star wide receiver Stefon Diggs has an opportunity to etch his name in franchise history in Week 18.

There will be plenty to play for when the Bills suit up to face the New England Patriots in the regular season finale. Not only will Damar Hamlin be on everybody’s mind, but the Bills are still fighting for a top spot in the AFC.

Diggs, who has personally been by Hamlin’s side throughout his recovery process, will be motivated for numerous reasons. From a professional standpoint, Diggs has Bills history in his sights.

Heading into Week 18, Diggs has recorded a total 101 receptions for 1,325 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns on the season. His 10 touchdowns ties his output from 2021, which ranks second for receiving touchdowns in a single season by a Bill.

Diggs is just one touchdown catch shy of Bill Brooks’ 11 receiving touchdowns, which was set in 1995.

With all that is going on in Buffalo, individual marks seem futile when looking at the bigger picture. That being said, Diggs will have plenty of incentive to go out and perform for his injured teammate, while potentially making Bills history in the process.
