Buffalo Bills QB quarterback Josh Allen elbow injury UCL Mika Garafolo update NFL insider NFL Network health status hurt positive news

Tuesday came and went without the Buffalo Bills announcing an official diagnosis on Josh Allen’s injured elbow.

While Allen and the Bills continue to evaluate what exactly is wrong, the anxiety of not knowing is creating a significant amount of anxiety across Bills Mafia.

While nothing official has been revealed, one NFL insider believes the next update will be a positive one for the Bills.

NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo discussed the situation in depth on NFL Now:

“It is an elbow sprain,”  Garafolo noted. “There’s hope in Buffalo that Josh Allen will be able to practice and play through his way this injury, but we wait for the final diagnosis.”

Garafolo also made sure to mention that this injury is not a Tommy John issue, which is more common in baseball than on the gridiron.

Hopefully, Garafolo is right and Allen can let his elbow heal without missing any time. However, Buffalo is in a tricky spot here.

This is the second time Allen has dealt with an injury to his throwing elbow, making this circumstance even more mysterious.

It’s likely that Bills Mafia gets an answer on his status on Wednesday, but the news is beginning to trend in the right direction for Allen and Buffalo.

While we wait, Bills star wide receiver Stefon Diggs sent out a tweet that might indicate Buffalo dodged a bullet.
