After squeaking by the Miami Dolphins, the Buffalo Bills are preparing for their upcoming playoff matchup.
While the team gets ready for the Cincinnati Bengals, reports have surfaced on some locker room changes.
Von Miller, a captain on and off the field, showed up to One Bills Drive with a present the team won't soon forget. Apparently, it's already made an enormous difference.
Von wanted to keep everything in perspective, despite the injuries and question marks surrounding this team. The dominant pass rusher immediately gifted a replica Lombardi trophy, reminding the team that the goal is still the same.
Immediately resonates with the team
After Miller gifted the replica trophy, reporters commented on what Gabe Davis did. The wide receiver went to the jugs gun, a device players use to help with catching the football, and worked for over an hour after practice.
Miller's impact on the field was easy to see but it may be what he does off the field that gives this team an even bigger boost. Rewind to earlier in the season while the Bills were going through their mid-season woes, Miller was vocal about not blinking. Specifically, he sent the reminder to the locker room and the media to "don't blink."
Since his season-ending injury on Thanksgiving, Miller is making sure his presence in the locker room is still felt. For further proof on Miller's impact and drive, he went back to Buffalo after his ACL surgery to make sure he was spending quality time with the team.
This gift was an important reminder of what this team has been working on since the devastating "13 seconds" loss to Kansas City last postseason.
Josh Allen has commented about how special the parade in Buffalo would be, Miller is just reminding the team to do whatever it takes to make that happen.
Onto Cincinnati.
