News for the Carolina Panthers only gets worse it seems.

On Friday, Frank Reich gave some insight into Horn's pending return. And it wasn't the news that most would want to hear.

"I don’t think that’s gonna happen," Reich said of Horn's return. "We gotta take it as it comes. Bu,t he’s been making good progress — feel good about where he’s at. So we’ll continue to take it day by day, week by week.”

Horn hasn't played since Week 1 when he injured his hamstring against the Atlanta Falcons.

For the Panthers, who are heading to a Week 12 matchup with the Tennessee Titans, Horn was listed as doubtful. But it looks like his return is still far off. And it may not come at all.

Horn was designated to return from injury reserve on Nov. 13.

Injuries have defined Horn's career. He has missed nearly 30 games over the 43 possible outings. With contract discussions rounding the corner, Horn's inability to stay healthy will undoubtedly define a start to a career filled with promise but met with disappointment.
