Adam Thielen has seen his fair share of the NFL. His take on the Carolina Panthers is second to none.

Veteran wide receiver Adam Thielen knows a thing or two about NFL facilities.

Recently, the Carolina Panthers announced a potential partnership with Charlotte, including an $800 million renovation to Bank of America Stadium and keeping the team in the city for two decades. Thielen, not bashful about speaking his mind, believes it couldn't come at a more opportune time.

"We probably have the worst facilities in the NFL right now," Thielen said about Carolina's practice facilities.

The changes that may come to the Panthers are monumental. The team is investing in the players. And for Thielen, that is good news.

"It’s exciting to hear that they’re going to invest in the players and the organization, the staff," he said, via the Charlotte Observer. "And I think everyone’s just excited to see that follow through and to get those resources to be at our best.”

Thielen's feelings toward the Panthers facility align with the grades players returned in the 2023 NFL Players Association report card.

The Panthers players rated their club with a C+ assessment of their locker room, a C+ of their training room and a B of their weight room. The annual report card also gave owner David Tepper a “D” grade, a large part of which was facility-related.

With changes in motion, the Carolina Panthers won't have the laughingstock of facilities in the NFL for much longer.
