Cincinnati Bengals WR Ja'Marr Chase reportedly suffered an AC joint sprain during Saturday's 27-24 overtime win over the Minnesota Vikings.

Per NFL Media's Ian Rapoport, Chase will have more tests to better determine the extent of the injury, but there's optimism that he may not miss any upcoming games.

"From what I am told, there is a chance that he actually misses no time. He is day-to-day, and would be able, potentially, to play next week," – NFL Media's Ian Rapoport

Chase missed most of the fourth quarter after converting a 3rd-and-21 to get the Bengals in scoring range for their second touchdown of the day. He would soon go into the locker room following that play and came out in street clothes with his right arm completely tucked under his sweatshirt.

Playing through a separated shoulder would take some guts, but Chase has played through injury before. Prior to missing a handful of weeks with a fractured hip last season, Chase went off for 130 yards and two touchdowns against the Atlanta Falcons despite suffering the injury the week prior.

Cincinnati being firmly in the playoff picture still requires them to be smart about handling one of their best players managing an injury. Chase may end up missing practice time this upcoming week, but we won't know further details until head coach Zac Taylor speaks to the media next.
