Wednesday's injury report for the Cincinnati Bengals (8-6) looks strikingly similar to yesterday’s as Week 16 inches closer and closer.
Wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase (shoulder) missed his second straight practice and is all but confirmed to be out for Saturday's divisional showdown with the Pittsburgh Steelers (7-7).
A report from Bleacher Report's Jordan Schultz went live earlier Wednesday stating Chase is already out. Head coach Zac Taylor will confirm Chase's status Thursday afternoon.
No additions were made to Cincinnati's injury report from Tuesday, but everyone who was limited that day went full on Wednesday. Running back Chase Brown (chest), guard Alex Cappa (knee/ankle), and edge defender Cam Sample (knee/ankle) were each full participants.
All three players will play significant snaps on Saturday in Pittsburgh. Cappa is the team's starting right guard and has missed just four snaps all season. Brown has averaged nearly 30 snaps and over 70 yards from scrimmage in the past three weeks. Sample is third amongst Bengals edge defenders in snaps this season.
It's looking like Cincinnati's inactives list will feature Chase and a few healthy scratches come Saturday afternoon.
