Cleveland Browns were hit with the injury bug in the third quarter against the Arizona Cardinals and it was a bit worrisome.
WR Marquise Goodwin attempted to catch a deep pass and took a hard hit to the back of the helmet it looked like, then his head hit off the ground. Goodwin was clearly woozy when he stood up and eventually went to the ground with trainers around him. The team announced he was being evaluated for a concussion. Cleveland later ruled out the wide receiver.
Cleveland had RT Dawand Jones exit with what looked like a leg injury in the third quarter but he was able to return.
For Goodwin, any loss at wide receiver would be tough with David Bell already ruled out. When you factor in the Browns trading Donovan Peoples-Jones, the Browns are short-handed there.
With Jones out, it was T James Hudson on the right side. Coming into the game, Jones was questionable to play with a shoulder injury. The rookie is a bit banged up.
