It looks like the Cleveland Browns have already decided on who will start at quarterback in Week 11 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

According to Jordan Schultz, the Browns will be rolling with rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson against the Steelers. It is set to be the rookie’s second start and this one will come after the Browns have lost Deshaun Watson for the season.

P.J. Walker will be the backup to DTR after playing in three games with two starts following Week 4 when things did not go well in Thompson-Robinson’s first start.

To be fair, not many rookies would have succeeded in the situation that the rookie was thrown into. Thompson-Robinson did not know he would be the starter against the Ravens until that morning when Watson was sure he wouldn’t be able to go. He didn’t get reps with the starters for the duration of the week, it was set up for failure.

Thompson-Robinson went on to throw three interceptions and completed just 20-of-37 passes. He believes that he will be better his next time out.

"Night and day. It'll be a clear difference. I finally got my feet wet. I know what to do. I know what to study when I go out there."

The Steelers with T.J. Watt and Alex Highsmith will be a tough test for the rookie, but he’s in a better place to succeed this go around. Cleveland can win with average quarterback play with the defense that they have.
